New people with time or particular skills to offer are always welcome. You don't have to be on a committee to help. If you are interested in offering a few hours of your time, maybe you have a skill that would be useful to us or even if you are just interested in seeing what we do then e-mail us, talk to us, write to us. We would like to compile a list of people we could call upon - a kind of "Friends of the Trust"
The Trust employs one Facilities Manager, a cleaner and a grounds person on a part-time basis, all of whom we regard as being the most important members of the team and we pay for other services as required. We do not have a full-time caretaker, but rely on the help of volunteers and the goodwill and care of our regular users.
We rely on our income, applying for grants and donations for everything that we do. We do not receive any revenue funding from the Local Authority or other sources which may come as a surprise to many people.
Apart from our very small team of paid staff, everyone else is a volunteer giving of their time and skills for the benefit of the whole community.
