Making more of the Green Gym.
It is now six months since the Green Gym was installed. Everyone is entitled, indeed encouraged, to use the eleven pieces of equipment which are placed near to the perimenter of the playing field area.
We have plans to improve the path leading round this part of the grounds.
The various pieces have been placed carefully. If you begin your circuit behind the tennis courts, the first piece helps you to warm up before you move on to increasingly more demanding equipment. Then the last few pieces – there are eleven stations in all – allow you to cool down.
It is perfectly possible to do it from the other end, of course.
We would like to see this equipment, installed as the result of obtaining a grant of almost £20,000 from the Active Lifestyles Community Capital Fund of the Welsh Assembly, used by more people. Don’t be shy. Have a go!
the pieces of exercise equipment are a very good idea indeed,I have used them and I have seen a few others as well.Hopefullly others will too,after the great expense installing the pieces.
