Gresford Craft Group and Wrexham Quilting Circle

The Craft Group

A group of creative people who find pleasure in sharing their skills with others. If you wish to learn traditional textile crafts but apply those skills to 21st century interpretations then come and join us.

Meetings are on Tuesdays throughout the year in the Green room. 9.30am - 11.30am and we hold an evening meeting on the same day same place from 7.30pm - 10.00pm.

Our members knit, crochet, do every style of embroidery, make lace of many types, do patchwork, quilting, appliqué and rug making.

If it uses fabric, thread or yarn we do it!

After the morning session we have Aerobics for the over 50's in the main hall which is great fun as well as being good for us. Anyone welcome.

Rossett Art Group

The Rossett Art Group was formed some 10 years ago in Rossett and met in the church room behind Christ Church. Following many requests for membership the group needed larger premises to expand and in 2009 moved to their current meeting venue in the Gresford Memorial Hall.

Although primarily a water colourist group, painters in any medium are encouraged to join. On numerous occasions we hold additional 1-day workshops when demonstrations with tutorials are given by prominent local artists.

Exhibitions are held at least twice a year where the groups endeavours are on display and may be purchased at reasonable prices.
