We have received investment in the Trust totalling
£738,809. Other contributions such as access to
cheaper machinery, printing, drawings, free surveys, furniture are
too numerous to mention as they are all the individual grants that
clubs themselves have received. We estimate this to be in the
region of £90,000.
We are extremely grateful for everyone's support and may we add
that it is not just the money that makes the difference but the
psychological boost that it gives to the every volunteer, knowing
that someone believes in what you are doing.
Time given by volunteers is incalculable!
Why do we do it you may ask?
Well, you meet interesting people, it's a good feeling to give
something back to the community you live in, its social, sometimes
passionate, hard work, satisfying and it can be fun.
Come and join us
If you don't want to join a committee maybe we could ask you to
put your name and telephone number on the
Volunteer list. Offering two hours a week, a month or a year.
Helping to pull up some weeds as you walk past, making sure that we
don't get vandalised, offering to open up the hall. Offering a
skill that you have for a couple of hours. Every little helps and
relieves the burden on all of us. We look forward to seeing
you.
Add your name and contact number to the volunteer list and tell
us how you feel you could contribute. We would really appreciate
your input.
